Inspired by the wisdom of the owl and the courage of queens, we strive to make wearable works of art that lift the soul.

Chouette Sauvageonne is for women who prefer to stand apart from the crowd — who are untempted by the "same handbag everywhere" syndrome.

We don’t follow seasons or trends.

Each piece is designed in London and made in Italy.  We use exceptional 'rescued' Italian leather — premium hides unused in luxury production — alongside heritage Irish linen and English tweed.  These elegant materials work wonderfully together.

Production numbers are strictly limited. It’s about detail and longevity. We create in limited-edition only, each numbered and released in small collections — from three to 25 pieces per design, never repeated.

Our entire production is conducted in Italy by family businesses of artisans with decades of experience in luxury craftsmanship.

At our heart is a deep love and respect for owls.  We support the rescue and rehabilitation of these majestic creatures.

Sapere Aude

The inspiration of queens.

The Tudor era produced some of history’s most formidable women—queens who defied expectations, wielded power with intelligence and grace, and left an indelible mark on the world.

Elizabeth I

Elizabeth I remains the ultimate icon of female independence and strength. Refusing to be defined by marriage, she ruled alone with unmatched political acumen and charisma, forging an era of prosperity and cultural brilliance. She was clever, daring, and utterly unforgettable.

The Ruff Collar

The ruff collar, a signature of Tudor and Renaissance queens, inspires our trademark. A hallmark of Renaissance fashion, it was more than an accessory: it framed the face, asserted authority, and signalled presence, power and poise.

Katherine Parr

Katherine Parr, often remembered as Henry VIII’s final wife, was far more than a survivor. She was a scholar, a writer, an advocate for women's literacy, and the first woman in England to publish a book under her own name. Quietly powerful, she navigated the dangerous politics of the Tudor court with intellect and grace.

Catherine of Aragon

Catherine of Aragon—the first wife of Henry VIII— was a queen who refused to be undermined. Her story began long before she became Queen of England. Born a Spanish Infanta, she undertook a monumental journey at just sixteen, leaving behind her homeland to forge a new destiny in England. Though cast aside and humiliated in marriage, she never lost her self-belief, and was widely loved and admired for her dignity.
